This is an award winning, luxurious sheet mask that I use at the end of my microneedling treatments. It truly is the most soothing and moisturizing face mask I have ever encountered. Here is a description from OMAD’s website:
“The serum is an oil-in-water emulsion, not a water-thin essence: phospholipids, palmitic acid, and plant triglycerides, finished with peony seed oil and oat kernel oil, replenish lightweight lipids that are massaged in, not rinsed off. Ectoin — the extremolyte microorganisms produce to survive extreme salt and heat — helps skin adapt, holding its moisture balance under everyday environmental stress. Humectants draw water in, lipids slow its loss, and Ectoin holds the balance when conditions change.
The sheet is grown, not woven. In a controlled fermentation, bacteria assemble cellulose into an ultra-fine, three-dimensional fiber network, which is then purified and cut to shape. Holding many times its dry weight in serum, it settles onto the face like a second skin and keeps the serum in close, even contact, limiting evaporation for the full 20 minutes.
